All used flutes, unless purchased directly from the owner, include an American Flute Guild Used Flute Warranty and insurance appraisal. Please contact us by phone or email for detailed information and for other flutes available that may not yet be listed here. This list is updated monthly. NOTE: Some prices are negotiable…some firm.

Mint condition = like new, little usage, no tarnish, no repairs required or recently overhauled
Excellent condition = like new condition, but may have some signs of usage, repairs not required or recently overhauled
Good condition = Mechanism in good working order, some tarnish, may need some adjustment, but not an overhaul
Poor Condition = needs overhaul

This is an exceptionally well-cared for Sterling Silver flute with drawn tone holes, open hole, B Foot, D# roller, Offset G, Split E, B Foot and custom made ergonomic keywork on the footjoint. WM.S. HAYNES #11545 – Used Solid Silver flute with drawn tone holes, offset G, Closed Hole, C Footjoint, gold springs. Made in 1930 and has that classic Haynes sound. In very good condition! A=440 PRICE: $3000 or best offer.

WM.S. HAYNES #30591 – Made in early 60s this Handmade Soldered Tone Hole Silver flute is inline with French Pointed Arms, Open Holes, and C Ft – EXCELLENT condition. Pretty tone and a light flute – thin wall.

WM. S. HAYNES #39433 – Due to jaw surgery, my gorgeous Haynes flute has been idle for the last 10 years. It is time for it to go to a good home where it can be played and enjoyed! GEORGE HAYNES flute #3892   - marked as follows…"MASTER, George W. Haynes, Boston, The Original Haynes." This trademark was used between 1922-1927 which is  the period when the flute was made after George Haynes left the Selmer Company. This instrument was made from the tools and dies prepared by George W. Haynes during his tenure at Selmer. The first Boston flutemaker, George W. Haynes was a gifted flutemaker who loved to experiment. He is credited with revolutionizing the flute industry with the manufacturing innovation of ‘drawn tone holes’, and prior to 1920 was America’s only alto flute maker. #3892 appears to be all silver with closed holes, offset G, C Foot.
