BRANNEN BROTHERS FLUTEMAKERS PRESS RELEASE
October 2005 Brannen-Cooper Fund Award Recipients

November 15, 2005, Woburn, MA – In 1994, Brannen Brothers Flutemakers, Inc. established The Brannen-Cooper Fund to honor Albert K. Cooper's lifelong contributions to the art and science of flutemaking. The Fund's ultimate goal is to help provide activities that contribute to the skills, education, and enjoyment of flutists at all levels of proficiency. It is our company's way of thanking both our customers and the entire flute-playing community for making us the company we are today.

Our principal focus is to assist in the funding of masterclasses, concerts, and flute choir coaching. We are also pleased to make some of our resources available for commissioning new music. Any flute-related organization, music school, or music department in any country may submit an application for funding. Applications for events are reviewed and awards are made four times a year.
